COLOR PRINTING

Artwork Submission Guidelines

Imprinting is performed at the Pina Zangaro factory.  Please read and follow 
the directions outlined below so your order may be processed on schedule.

* * REMOTE DIGITAL COLOR PRINTING provides an excellent opportunity for 
electronic transfer of artwork and quick production capabilities onto 
varying types of surfaces and products printed.  While providing a fast, 
digital rendition onto a product, this process is not the same as printing 
onto paper, and surface conditions, resulting in color variance should 
be considered when preparing and submitting color artwork files for production.

* * PRODUCTION RESULTS VARY:  Use of remote services does not allow 
for traditional "press check" precautions, and variances are to be expected in 
color rendition.  Every digital printing operation will experience a unique 
variance to reality.  Use of our services requires an understanding of the 
expectations for color variance.  All purchases of merchandise and 
imprinting are final and non-refundable.

* * RECENT PRE-CONDITIONS:  Use of WHITE in the digital printer often results
in a striation pattern due to its thickness compared to other colors used.

Color Printing Artwork Requirements
__________________________________________________________

* * Production is performed upon one style of merchandise per job assignment.
__________________________________________________________

1. Make sure art is vector art or an image of 300 ppi / dpi or higher
and saved as a .TIFF fi le.
2. Convert type to out lines.
3. Size artwork to 100%. Be sure to observe specific dimensions for 
your item.  This information is posted inside the item's description area, 
and is larger than the "title" dimension.
4. Set color space to CMYK.
5. Make sure any Pantone™ colors are set to solid coated
swatches only.
6. If your art uses only white ink, it should be set to 100% black.
7. If your art uses colors and white ink you need to set all white
areas to 1% cyan.
8. MANDATORY POSITIONING STATEMENT IN WRITING (INSIDE THE BODY OF YOUR EMAIL)   
please include the following:

a. Orientation of our product to be engraved and exact positioning of your 
artwork on the product as in the examples below:

--EXAMPLE: horizontal positioning of product with "bottom of logo to be 
positioned ___ inches from bottom edge of product and ___ inches from right 
edge of product."

--EXAMPLE: "logo is to be centered left to right and top to bottom on product with
horizontal orientation of the product."

b. Your name
c. Your phone number
e. Product style number to be imprinted
e. Method of imprinting to be performed, (Color or Laser).
Email both Artwork as attachment and Positioning Statement inside email letter
 to: sales@pzdirect.com
 
9. Upon the receipt of your art file, receipt will be acknowledged.  Usually within 
24 hours (business days), a PDF proof is provided to you to review and approve.  
The first production day is the first day after your PDF 
proof acceptance.  
Please send artwork prior to 1:00 PM, California Time, weekdays.

to the requirements listed above, we will advise you promptly.
