See the item you want to imprint and determine which process is available to imprint (i.e., Color Printing, Laser Engraving). 2.) After the initial receipt of your artwork, we will notify you that it was received. Usually, within 24 hours (business days), the art department at the factory will have prepared your PDF proof to review and examine for acceptance. The Pina Zangaro computer-controlled lasers blast tiny particles of the surface material to create a sand-blasted or etched monochromatic look. AVAILABLE with: Bamboo, Bex, Camden, Frost, Machina, Olema, Rossano,and Vista styles --NOT available with: Boro, Bryant, Colmar, Tera, or ANY 2" Ring Binders _________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________ BLIND DEBOSSING Blind Debossing is called “blind” because no color is added. It’s called “debossing” rather than embossing because the lettering is recessed rather than protruding. Blind Debossing requires that a die is prepared. For this reason, orders for Blind Debossing have two charges, the $260 die fee and a per-piece fee starting at $20 for 1 piece, and lower per piece for more quantity. The dies are typically made of magnesium and are durable enough to make several hundred impressions. A good general rule of thumb is that we can deboss up to 15 square inches. Example: A 3x5 logo or 2x7.5 logo. Pina Zangaro archives these dies for reorders unless requested to be retained by customer. This process starts with the production of a steel die made from your artwork. Next, this die is loaded into a high-pressure press to emboss the product, leaving a raised impression of the artwork. Size limitations are 3.5 x 7.5 inches, to apply to top surfaces only, and cannot be applied to spines or sides of products.
